Our School

Arts Integrated into Academic Excellence

Warner Arts Magnet School promotes learning in the arts as well as the transfer of learning between the arts and other subjects to build the skills scholars need to become successful adults.

Serving students from Pre-K to Grade 5, we use standards-based art content and 21st century skills like critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity to engage scholars and leverage development and learning across the curriculum. Warner is an enhanced option school, meaning we have an extended school day that ends at 3:45 p.m.

Currently, our scholars receive instruction in English language arts, math, social studies, science, and related arts, including dance, computer, physical education, visual art, instrumental and choral music, and library sciences. We also have Gifted and Talented Education and Exceptional Education services.

Warner promotes learning outside of the classroom through educational field trips, has an active volunteer program, and takes full advantage of technology in our classrooms.

Aftercare is available for free Monday through Friday, provided onsite by the Martha O'Bryan Center and offsite by East Park Community Center. Warner offers literacy nights, STEAM nights, and family dances to promote family involvement. We are committed to continued collaboration with parents and community partners to further strengthen our community and make Warner the school of choice for Nashville.
